We offer funpowered camping sites at the Pentland Hotel. Park your caravan up or pitch your tent and come inside to say hello. Maybe even have a meal, enjoy a beer in the beer garden, or play a game of pool.
There is lots of camping space in front of or behind the stables at the back of the pub. Just make sure you're inside our fence-line at the back, please (i.e. not on the footpath).
You are also able to park up under the mango trees behind the stables, which is also within the pub grounds. There is a small gate near the mango tree, which is a short cut through to the pub and amenities.
The ground is flat and there are some shaded spots. There is room for the biggest rigs like imported fifth wheelers.
It's easily accessible, but back from the main road (on the Flinders Highway) so away from a lot of the noise. You get a great view of the sunset in the evening and can walk down to the dam and see the wildlife.
We are pet-friendly so feel free to bring your furry friends.
Toilets and hot showers are available 24 hours. We just ask that you pay $3 at the bar for the shower.
